Good afternoon all,

I am now fairly confident with several elements of VBA and get small programmes to do most of what I am trying to do, I've gone from only looping to filtering and think Arrays are the next step.

I'm struggling to understand why we dim an array and then redim.

To be honest no matter how fast I run at the wall head first none of it s sinking in, it's pretty depressing really.

Any good sites out there to talk a simpleton through it.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Thanks for taking the time hiker,

I will look through them this evening,

I'll let you know how I get on in due course.

hiker,

Just to say thanks again,

I found most of those sites brilliant, unusually, Chip Persons site is the hardest to fathum but I have a feeling I should have taken a step back on the site.

The visual basic talk site was by far the best with a real step by step introduction to array formulas,

I recommend it to anyone starting on Arrays.

Cheers,
Kev
