No split screen handles

I have 2 worksheets in a workbook. For some reason there are no split screen handles on the first worksheet.And there in nothing in the help. Crazy how that can be!
Do you have an idea?

By "split screen handles" do you mean sheet tabs?

Try going to tools --> options --> view and check "sheet tabs"

Main menu Tools/Options/View Tab are the Horizonal & Vertical scrollbars ticked here? Is this what you are looking for????

The split screen 'grabber things' are located to the right of the bottem scroll bar and at the top of the verticle scroll bar. They allow you to split the screen to 4 quadrants etc.
