So often I came on this problem !
I am sure there is no solution ... but I never asked !

So here is my question: would it be possible to return format or at least font information in a string-UDF?

In the input data in a cell it is possible to mix formats and font.
For example, I can insert in a cell a "Symbol" and red character in a "Tahoma" black text.

Would it be possible to do the same in the returned value from a UDF.
For sure not?

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

No, just as you can't do it with a built-in formula.
