I'll second that as an option.

Having said that, I've searched for things and found solutions where the title DIDN'T match my search criteria.

I'm probably a poor searcher but I tend to leave my criteria pretty open, then ignore the dross that results (anywhere, not just here).

that is a good point. some titles are like 'whaaa???' but 'generally' titles do reflect the post, at least that is what i have found.

Hear, hear!

I *try* to make my titles useful, putting my basic question forward, or at least the key terms I think it's about.

And, I quite agree, I search before asking (and this board is SO active, don't you people do anything else?! *laugh*), but am pretty sure that it's there somewhere.

I'm starting to despair on my current project, but I'll continue searching, before another post. :)

PS, thanks for ALL the help you've given me, just from the stuff that I have found!

I would not even bother using the built in search. The leaders of this board have admitted that it is not the best. See Nate's post for using Google instead.

What's the problem causing despair in your current project?

Thanks Tom, that link to that post (already marked as a "Favorite"!) helped a lot, I think I found something in the archives that will help me. If not, I will certainly be back to post my query on my project!

Thanks again!
