Normal Curve overlay bar graph

I found a similar question posted, but didn't understand the answer given.

I have a normal, basic distribution bar graph. I learned how to SEPARATELY graph a normal bell curve. I want to OVERLAY this bell curve on my original bar graph, so i can compare our sample to the norm. Any easy way to do this?

Hi eroth76,

You don't have to overlay plots to do this. You can plot a line on a bar chart using the custom chart types called "Line - Column" (when setting the chart type select the Custom tab). This will allow you to plot the normal curve on your histogram.
