I found a similar question posted, but didn't understand the answer given.

I have a basic distribution bar graph. I learned how to SEPARATELY graph a normal bell curve. I want to OVERLAY this bell curve on my original bar graph, so i can compare our sample to the norm. Any easy way to do this?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
I THINK YOU ARE WANTING TO ADD ANOTHER SET OF DATA TO A BAR GRAPH THEN HAVE A LINE GRAPH ON THE SAME CHART. IF THIS IS THE CASE
JUST GO TO SOURCE DATA ON THE GRAPH, ADD THE SERIES OF DATA YOU WANT.

WHEN IT POPS UP SELECT THE NEW SERIES OF DATA WITH THE MOUSE AND RIGHT CLICK, SELECT CHART TYPE AND THEN THE CHART YOU WANT FOR THE SECOND DATA SET. THIS WILL GIVE YOU A BAR GRAPH OF DATASET 1 AND A LINE/WHATEVER YOU CHOSE, AS THE SECOND SET

No worries Eroth, why don't you send me the workbook and I can take a look tomorrow.

Check your private messages for my e-mail address.

If I can get a handle on your data, I can walk you through it.
