A colleague at work has lost the ability to pick the 256 colour option from
his colour palette (in the control panel/display/settings) -thus making the picture "fuzzy" when using the internet

he only has the option to pick 2 or 16

how can he get 256 back on the drop down?

thanks

This could just be down to corrupted drivcers and a reinstallation may fix
the problem.

On of those question i would check drivers and moniter if say changed to TFT as they have funny software and setters in them, Dell is common for this one.

As with many of these blips Jacks golden rule - i hope You always back up 'everything' and i would opt for a clean install - if nothing hardware has been changed as of late
