Hi all, I have never seen access do this before. When I run the query using the parameter Like "*-interco*' it is returning 10,000 rows of data ( which is correct), but when I just add the not like the data set is being reduced by 40K lines instead of the expected 10K rows. I have no other filters and the totals are off on both scenarios. Any ideas as to why access is doing this or a work around?

Try this:

SQL:
