Not show only unhidden screen ??

I have a workbook where all the worksheets (except one saying that "Macros must be enabled...") are hidden at the Open.

The first command in the OnOpen macro is to unhide a "2nd" worksheet and with ScreenUpdating = True the desire is that this worksheet be displayed as soon as the workbook is opened.

What happens however, is that since this workbook is large (17MB) it takes a while for this "2nd" sheet to be made visible, and users are left with the "Macros must be enabled..." screen for a while even though they have in fact enabled macros.

Is there a way for nothing or just a blank screen to be displayed upon open rather than the "Macros" worksheet being displayed for a while ??

Thanks

StanSz

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Unless you want to set your users up with dual mega processors, I'd be happy that you can even open up a 17Mb workbook at all.

Can you pare it down a bit? (Dave Hawley @ www.ozgrid.com has some great suggestions for reducing file bloat.)
