Not sure what function I need, possibly Lookup?

Sorry for vague title!

What I have is a list of 64 values in A1:A64, with 64 corresponding values in B1:B64, to give give 64 more in C1:C64. These are stored in a Worksheet called "Grade List"

Basically there are 8 different original values, which can apply to Right Eye (Column A) and Left Eye (Column B). They are laid out so all of Value 1 for A are in A1:A8, with Values 1-8 in B1:B8. Then Value 2 in A9:A16, with again 1-8 in B1:B16

In Column C the values are entered manually - this is because they are text values and are not calculable from A and B. The values are overall grades dependent on Right and Left values, but not necessarily sequential as a number of factors affect which of R and L "wins" to create the result

What I am trying to do is allow a lookup of some kind on these from another worksheet, but the problem is, as far as I can see if, you can only carry out this sort of function on one Column?

Here's a sample of the data:- (sorry, not sure how to get the columns to line up...)

A B C
R0M0 R0M0 R0M0
R0M0 R1M0 R1M0
R0M0 R1M1 R1M1
R0M0 R2M0 R2M0
R0M0 R2M1 R2M1
R0M0 R3M0 R3M0
R0M0 R3M1 R3M1
R0M0 U U
R1M0 R0M0 R1M0
R1M0 R1M0 R1M0
R1M0 R1M1 R1M1
R1M0 R2M0 R2M0
R1M0 R2M1 R2M1
R1M0 R3M0 R3M0
R1M0 R3M1 R3M1
R1M0 U U
R1M1 R0M0 R1M1
R1M1 R1M0 R1M1
R1M1 R1M1 R1M1
R1M1 R2M0 R2M0
R1M1 R2M1 R2M1
R1M1 R3M0 R3M0
R1M1 R3M1 R3M1
R1M1 U R1M1

So, if for example someone entered, in the active Worksheet, R1M0 in Column F and U in Column G, I'd like to populate Column H with U

Not sure if this is possible?

(thanks for any help that anyone can give and apologies for probably convoluted question!)
