Hi,

Is it possible to set up something in Excel that notifies a user that someone else has the spreadsheet open? We are using a shared folder on Dropbox and a mix of Mac OS/Windows and not all on Office 365. At the moment it's possible for multiple users to make changes at the same time which means not all are being saved.

Thanks,
Fi

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Not sure how this works with shared folders, but you can turn off autosave for a file. Must be done before anyone else opens it though.
