Hi everybody,

I've got a question about nslookup in Excel.
I've got 1 column (A) with IP-addresses and I want to have a hostname of it. In cmd I can fill in nslookup xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx but that is too much work for me, because it is a lot of addresses. Is it possible that Excel can get a range of addresses with hostname via nslookup? The results must come in Sheet 2 if that is possible?
Does anybody have a VBA code for this?

Tnx for now,
Steffmeister

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
I tried to export the xls file to a .txt file and fill in the command
nslookup filename.txt Output.txt
But this doesn't work. Can somebody plz help me? I prefer to have the results in Excel.
