I have a combo box (not created by the Forms toolbox) created using Data Validation.
When a user selects a value, the user presses a command button to do some stuff. When the code has finished I want the chosen value to dissappear and show nothing. How do I do this in code as I don't have a name of the 'combo box'?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
If it's data validation, then it would reside in a cell reference.

i.e.

If its in Cell A1 then VB:

ActiveSheet.Range("A1").value = ""
