Number Conversion Issue

I need to convert accumulated time to minutes.

Example: Someone makes a telephone call and it lasts for 1:06 (1 minutes and 6 seconds).

Is there a formula that will allow me to show this as 1.1 minutes?

Also, if a call was made that was 70:06 (70 minutes and 6 seconds), it would have to be shown as 70.1 minutes.

This would work for time values under 24 hours:<ul>[*]=HOUR(A1)*60+MINUTE(A1)+SECOND(A1)/60[/list]

=A1*24

Depends how it's entered:

If 70:06, then =A1*24
if 1:10:06 or 00:70:06, then =A1*1440

Either way I "overdid it" (or "underthunk it" if you prefer) by dragging HOUR(), MINUTE() & SECOND() into the mix. Sheesh...
