Number of months between two dates

Does anyone know how to calculate the number of months between two dates when the first and last months are not full months.

For example:

Start date 02/05/2010
End date 08/14/2011

Any help would be appreciated

What I am looking for is a formula that will calculate the number of months between the two dates out two decimals since the first month and the last month are not complete months.

It should be 18.31, when calculating the months individually

Maybe something like this? I am adding 2 to add back in the 2 dates that are used int eh subtraction, but I am not sure if that is correct or not depending on what you need?
