Hello, in the below table i'd like to add a column summing the occurences of same week # for each store.

for example - Store 115 - 1 for 49, 50, 51, 52
store 160 - 1 for 50, 51, 52
store 161 - 2 for 49, 2 for 50

 Week # Store # 49 Store ##00115 50 Store ##00115 51 Store ##00115 52 Store ##00115 50 Store ##00160 51 Store ##00160 52 Store ##00160 49 Store ##00161 49 Store ##00161 50 Store ##00161 50 Store ##00161

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December

Hi,

Just write all the unique values in column D and apply this formula in column E

=SUMIF(B:B,D2,A:A)

I'm online and able to respond in real time to you until it's solved.

Set up a pivot table...

Store # to ROWS, Week # to COLUMNS, and Store # to VALUES where you replace Sum with Count.

 Row\Col A B C D E F 3 Count of Week # Column Labels 4 Row Labels 49 50 51 52 Grand Total 5 Store ##00115 1 1 1 1 4 6 Store ##00160 1 1 1 3 7 Store ##00161 2 2 4 8 Grand Total 3 4 2 2 11

I don't under the "unique values" in column D reference.

Just write all the unique values in column D and apply this formula in column E

=SUMIF(B:B,D2,A:A)

See post #3...

Write all the unique store numbers in D2,D3,D4 and so on, so if you have 3 unique stores write Store ##00115 in D2, Store ##00160 in D3 and so on...
I don't under the "unique values" in column D reference.
