is it possible to format a cell so that if any letter is entered, it will display with a numerical prefix?

I want the number "65" to appear before an entered letter.
example:
enter "M" . . . . display "65M"

anyone got anything?

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
I know how to do that, but what I'm trying to do is the opposite of what you explained.

I'll be entering a column of different letters, but I want the number "65" before all the different letters.

ex:
65M
65F
65T
65X

I'm assuming if it is possible, I'll have to format the cell, and enter a custom formula . . . I'm just not sure what to enter there though.

Do you mean that if A was entered then 65A would be displayed?

If so I don't think this is possible using just a format.

The only way I can think of would be using VBA.
