Numlock switches off after running VB code

We have the following problem:
Using MSO97 version, the engaged numlock switches off automatically after running an extensive VB programm. We have solved this by the "send numlock" command, but on most of our terminals, this still does not work to switch numlock on again.

Question one: which statement is switching off the numlock and
two: how to avoid this?

All help is highly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
