ODC and passwords with Access & Excel 2007

Hi I have an access database that is password protected. I create and ODC file and add the password and it works fine. But when I put the spreadsheet on the network and someone else opens it it prompts for the password when they do a refresh. Can I put the password in the ODC fiel and make it persist? thanks
