After I close a working excel file and then reopen it, it is a read-only file. I have to rename it to save it. This is a new machine and setup, but I never had this in my previous setups? What could be the cause? Thanks in advance for your help.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
You need to change the READ ONLY option in Excel Files properties to get rid of the same.

It is and has been clear. I am now thinking it is either Windows, Onedrive, or McAfee issue.
