Compaq nx9010
SP3
so i did an update a few days ago and Excel now takes a long time to save(like 30-50 sec). and the service OFFLB.EXE shows up in the task manager.
i tried renaming the .exe file and even created a dummy .exe file but neither worked.
though the service does not show up Excel is still lagging. whether i save in .xls or .xlsx format.
i am thinking i will just have to undo the updates. i dunno.
any ideas at all?
ran CChecker, malware, antispyware and even did a restore to a few days before the update (though i know that does not get rid of the updates themselves). and i do not have an hp printer. just onenote which is activated and xps document writer.
