offset link to active x control checkbox

Can anyone guide me on how to set an offset link to an active x checkbox? The properties panel seems to accept standard cell references only and not formula. Is there any way round this that doesn't require VBA?

No, you have to use VBA. ( as far as I know )

Not sure if this is what you're after, but you can use an offset from the cell that you've assigned to the checkbox.

Maybe an =IF(A1=true,offset...?
