HI

I am trying to use offset and match and thought I had it perfected. VLookup wont work as I am using a skill table for our agents. Multiple times that a skill set would appear and I want it to return the agents name but only ONCE!

Column CDE
=IFERROR(MATCH($K$3,OFFSET(Sheet2!$A$1,C3,0,2000,1),0)+C3,"")

Gives me the row number of where I would find the chosen skill
=IFERROR(INDEX(Sheet2!$B$1:$B$2000,$C4), "" )

Gives me the name for this row number
=IFERROR(INDEX(Sheet2!$A$1:$A$2000,$C4), " ")

Gives me the skill set

SO each works perfectly in its own little right. What I am asking is, would it be possible for the next time column D returns a name already in my list, that it is ignored and moved on.
Or am I asking too much?

TYIA.

Two things would help get your answer quicker I think.
  1. Update your Account details (click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)
  2. Provide some smallish sample data and expected results with XL2BB and explain how those results are obtained manually
