Hi,

Could anyone help me with a formula headache?

I want to reference a range of cells in a worksheet and to sum the values of cells immediately to the right of a text string value in another cell.

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance...

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

Can the SUMIF be modified across an A1 range? I get a #VALUE! error when i try to increase the range

eg.

=SUM(IF($B$9:$D$17=G10,$C$9:$E$17,0))

This is obviously an array formula, based on a single condition. This "doctor" would order just

=SUMIF($B$9:$D$17,G10,$C$9:$E$17)

with just one condition.
