Hi All,

I have a excel workbook that reads a SQL script, queries a SQL DB then returns the data directly into a worksheet. The worksheet that the data returns to has a data connection type of OLE DB Query and the VBA that make this happens is as follows:

Sheets("DataSheet").Select
Range("A1").Select

With Selection.QueryTable
.Connection = _
"OLEDB;Provider=SQLOLEDB;Server=<SERVER NAME>\;App=Report_Name.xls;Database=<DATA BASE>;Trusted_Connection=yes;"
.Sql = theQueryText
.Refresh BackgroundQuery:=False
End With

The problem I have is that now our company has moved to an Azure DB and requires a Microsoft login which I have but I can't seem to work out how to adapt my workbook for azure.

Anyone know how I can do this? Is it even possible?

Thanks,

Ben

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
