on error resume next

Does anyone know please

Does "on error resume next" ONLY apply to the lines after it and within the sub it is written??

Someone suggested it might carry on to the next sub?

If you call another sub-procedure that does not contain it's own error-handler then that sub will use the calling procedures error-handler... so depending on how your procedure is structured it can be yes and no.

No my error handler is within the sub so I think it should all be self contained.
