Hi everyone,

I have created a custom toolbar that only contains a dropdown. The user selects a month from the dropdown and then the OnAction property is set to run another macro. For some reason the call is not being completed. Any suggestions for why this might be?

Thanks for any help.

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Have a look in Help at the Change Event of the CommandBarComboBox Object. There is an example showing how to get the combo box to respond to user interaction.

Thanks...this is still a little over my head though. When I tried to install and run the example (to see how it worked), the compiler didn't recognize "ComboBoxHandler" as a defined type. Is there a reference I need to have selected?

Well, I must admit I didn't try it and it seems the example is somewhat lacking.

I think the Class Module needs to be named ComboBoxHandler (not eg Class1).

Give that a go and good luck!
