Hello Everybody. I am working on a new excel sheet for a group of people that will use it daily. I would like to have the option of “one single click” on a cell to enter specific information. What I mean is, it would have the text “Please click here” highlighted so once they can click in it, the text will disappear and they can enter the information. Is that possible? Thanks.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
You could use comments attached to the cell - with the option for them to be shown automatically.
This would allow you to dictate where you want people to put information etc but without inserting any text to the cells.

Thank your for your idea! The information that is going to be entered can vary.
On the other hand, one of the cells is going to have the Date. Can I set up a calendar to pop up so the can choose the date?

Thanks!
