Hi
Please could you give me some advice.
My IT guys have created a folder on the Network where I have placed a Excel File. A number of staff will update & delete information on different parts of the worksheet.

Is there any setting I have to place on the worksheet or anything I need to know. I was worried that maybe I have opened the file at the same time as some one else and when I save it their info will not be saved ??

You advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and help.

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Is the file that you are working in saved on a network (so all other users will be sourcing it from the network as well?). If this is the case, then Excel will tell you if another user is currently working in that file, so you shouldn't have any problems.
