I created 2 pivot tables from the same data set & then I created a slicer. The slicer only worked on one of the pivot tables (rather than both at the same time).

Does anyone have any idea on how to make it work?

Thank you in advance.
Also, I'm using "Excel 2016 in Depth..."

Great! Please post the answer in this thread. That way, if others search for the same problem they'll have an answer provided. :)

First: It doesn't seem to work when the pivot tables are on separate worksheets!; The trick was to create the slicer from the last pivot table!;

It shouldn't matter what sheet the PivotTable is located on. With the slicer selected, click on the 'Slicer Tools, Options' ribbon tab, then click the 'Report Connections' button. It will list all PivotTables associated with the PivotCache from the selected Slicer. So if you have multiple Pivots connected to a single cache, you can link the slicer to any Pivot connected to it. :)

Thank you!

In order to get to "Slicer Tools" I have to select the slicer!

Merry Christmas!
