I had to rename a workbook with an attached group of macros.
Now, whenever I open the new workbook, it also opens the old
workbook. What'd I do wrong?

I don't want the new workbook associated with the old one, but
want the macros.

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Hi,
Try keeping your macros in the PERSONAL.xls. As PErsonal.xls is active with all workbooks, you can get your macros irrespective of the workbook.
