I want my user form to load right away when I open up my .xls file.

Also, anyone know how to put a button on an excel worksheet that will perform a Macros assigned to it?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
1. Click on ThisWorkBook and select the Open method - Within it,
UserFormName.Show

2. See Shapes.AddFormControl method or something similar

Loading a spreadsheet into a form...

Could you be a little more specific please?

Where do I find "ThisWorkbook"?

How would I load an existing Excel spreadsheet into a VBA spreadsheet form control?

Thanks!

Hello,

When you are in the Visual Basic editor, click View, Project Explorer. This will expose the individual sheets in the current Workbook. You will also see one named ThisWorkbook. If you double click it, it will open up into the code window for it. If you drop the General combobox in the upper left corner, you will see a choice for WorkBook. When you select WorkBook then the Declarations area on the right side will show all of the WorkBook events available to you. Click on open and then put your code in the sub declaration it will create for you. Here is an example and Good Luck!
Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    MsgBox "Workbook_Open"
End Sub
