I have a autoupdate links macro, that every 3 minutes update the links of some workbooks in the lan.

the problem is that if i open more then this workbook in one excel instance it give´s me the debug window.

i´ve tryied SEVERAL ways to do this, but i can´t activate the window, because it will pop up the windows and it has to be done in the background.

so since i can´t figure out how to do a better update links macro, Can you guys tell me how to let ONLY ONE WORKBOOK, be open at a time in one excel instance?

it will solve my problem.

PS: the problem isen´t with me i know this, but there are seniors that don´t have a clue about how to control the mouse, and they can´t undersand the limitations of this macro... damm seniors lol

thanks for any help
best regards
