OOPS. How do I disable a auto-start macro so I can edit it?

I added some code to start a macro running every time my file was opened. Now I need to make a change but don't know how. The end of the macro closes the file so how can I get back control to edit this thing?

Hold down your SHIFT key when you open the file.

Choose disable macros when you first open the file.
