Hi. My active workbook is named Cat. Using VBA, I wish to open a second workbook named Dog that is in the My Documents folder on the C drive. Problem is that Dog has an Auto_Open macro which I want to not run when this workbook opens. How would I go about doing this? Thanks.

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Try setting
Application.EnableEvents = False
before opening the workbook, and re-setting events to True afterwards.

Be aware, if the macro errors, EnableEvents does not reset, so maybe use an error handler that re-enables the events to cover your bases.
