Hi, i'm relatively new to using Excel and writing macro's. I have 11 folders with around 130 DBF files with Data from a customers machine, I need a way to automate the conversion of these to CSV or xslx so i'm not having to manually open and save as almost 1500 files.

thanks,

Tom :)

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Welcome to the Board!

If you open a blank Excel file, turn on your Macro Recorder and record yourself opening, saving, and closing one of these files, then shutting off the Macro Recorder, you will have the code you need to do that part of it. Then, you just need to wrap that code in a loop that loops through all the files.

If you need help with that, follow the steps I mentioned above and paste your recorded code here for us to see.
Then let us know the file paths where these 130 DBF files are found.
