open file using date

i need a macro to open a file. the file will always have yesterdays date in it.

any ideas?

Try something like this:

    Workbooks.Open Filename:= _
        "C:\Data_" & Format(Now() - 1, "YYYYMMDD") & ".xls"
End Sub
Change the path as needed.
