I have a spreadsheet with hyperlinks that open jpg files -On my PC it opens internet explorer to open the jpg file.

I have checked the windows folder settings and my PC is set to open jpg's with picture viewer.

Anyone any ideas how to change this from IE to Picture Viewer?

Thanks in advance.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Where are the pictures located?

If it is a hyperlink to a file that is located on the internet, I would imagine your folder settings have nothing to do with it. It's going to open in IE no matter what as said file is located on the internet. If it is a link to a file on your hard drive, that's a different story.

It's a link to a file on my local drive,It opens the file with IE when I click the hyperlink.
Actually,If I doubleclick the file directly,It will be opened with a picture viewer.
This problem happens only when I click the hyperlink that created in the Excel.
