I have to verify several reports for about 40 different regions. generally I do this by manually unzipping a few txt files for each region and then putting certain feilds in a spreadsheet to check them. I made a macro that does all this except i still have to manually unzip the files. Is there a way to access the files in vba? I don't want to unzip the entire file because it is about 2 gigs and I only need to verify a few small txt files. Anyone have a way to do this?
say the file I want is "Calc Worksheet.csv" which is zipped in "Q:\Chicago\CHI1207RUN" where "CHI1207RUN" is the zipped up file/folder.
