My wife, a teacher, uses a program called eClass to figure grades. We would like to open this file (with a .cls extension) with Excel 2003 so that we can do additional data management in Excel.

Excel does not recognize this file type when trying to open the file. Does anybody have any suggestions on how we could open this file with Excel?

Thanks for any help.

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Norie,

I don't believe it is a text. When I did a search on line for a .cls file extension several websites said it was either a c++ file or a visual basic file.

It has all the appearances of an electronic worksheet like MS works or Excel. In actuality it is probably similar to an Appleworks spreadsheet.

It certainly isn't a C++ or VB file.:)

I googled and found this.
