Opening multiple text files in a folder and save them

I am quite noobish at this. I have not been able to figure out why my text files will always end up saving with "data" for all the lines despite the original format not having this.

Basically I am tasked daily to save text files into a specific directory based on their header (located in cell "A1" when open in excel). I could identify the part and renaming without issues but the data will end up having quotes like this " at the start and end of the data instead of the pure data. It screws my access database which uses the text file. And I am doing this manually daily.

Would appreciate any help to solve this. Thanks.

Did you try copying the file rather than saving it?

You can do this manually by using the

File | Open dialog, to the folder with the file in it; but do a:

Right mouse click on the file and do a Copy

Then Change the Look in: folder to the destination folder and do a Right mouse click and paste

Then close the dialog.

This will copy the file to the new location.
