When opening a specific spreadsheet, 2 copies are created, with 2 different name endings - :1 and :2. Its happening to all users who open the spreadsheet and we have not selected the 'create a back up' option in the 'save as' menu. Can anyone explain why this is happening, and how to stop it please. Thanks.

You have two windows open. Click the Close Window button (under the red Close button) and one should disappear.

Thanks. Yes, but the workbook is automatically opening 2 windows each time I open the spreadsheet. Do you know how I can stop this happening?

If you click the Close Window button then save the file that should fix it.
