opens as Read only

Hi,

I have a work book saved on a shared server, it always opens as read only. I've checked the properties and read only is not selected, any ideas?

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Have you checked your read/write permissions for that folder/server?

If thats not a read-only location, do you get any message when you open the file?
