I would love some help in shortening/optimizing some formatting procedures in Excel. I need to set conditional formatting based on a fixed number of columns and dynamic number of rows in each column (which is the same for each column). Seems like the code generated with the macro recorder is a little on the long side, I feel like there should be a way to shorten it.

So here's my code:

Code:
Range("AD4:AI" & Range("I" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row).Select    Selection.FormatConditions.AddColorScale ColorScaleType:=3
    Selection.FormatConditions(Selection.FormatConditions.Count).SetFirstPriority
    Selection.FormatConditions(1).ColorScaleCriteria(1).Type = _
        xlConditionValueLowestValue
    With Selection.FormatConditions(1).ColorScaleCriteria(1).FormatColor
        .Color = 7039480
        .TintAndShade = 0
    End With
    Selection.FormatConditions(1).ColorScaleCriteria(2).Type = _
        xlConditionValuePercentile
    Selection.FormatConditions(1).ColorScaleCriteria(2).Value = 50
    With Selection.FormatConditions(1).ColorScaleCriteria(2).FormatColor
        .Color = 16776444
        .TintAndShade = 0
    End With
    Selection.FormatConditions(1).ColorScaleCriteria(3).Type = _
        xlConditionValueHighestValue
    With Selection.FormatConditions(1).ColorScaleCriteria(3).FormatColor
        .Color = 8109667
        .TintAndShade = 0
    End With
    Selection.Borders(xlDiagonalDown).LineStyle = xlNone
    Selection.Borders(xlDiagonalUp).LineStyle = xlNone
    With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeLeft)
        .LineStyle = xlContinuous
        .ColorIndex = 0
        .TintAndShade = 0
        .Weight = xlThin
    End With
    With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeTop)
        .LineStyle = xlContinuous
        .ColorIndex = 0
        .TintAndShade = 0
        .Weight = xlThin
    End With
    With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeBottom)
        .LineStyle = xlContinuous
        .ColorIndex = 0
        .TintAndShade = 0
        .Weight = xlThin
    End With
    With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeRight)
        .LineStyle = xlContinuous
        .ColorIndex = 0
        .TintAndShade = 0
        .Weight = xlThin

        .LineStyle = xlContinuous
        .ColorIndex = 0
        .TintAndShade = 0
        .Weight = xlThin
    End With

    With Selection.Borders(xlInsideHorizontal)
        .LineStyle = xlContinuous
        .ColorIndex = 0
        .TintAndShade = 0
        .Weight = xlThin
    End With
    Columns("AC:AC").EntireColumn.AutoFit

I'm not sure if I need to include more information. Appreciate the help in advacnce.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
I was given this

Code:
Sub Macro1()
With Range("E9:M27").Borders
        .LineStyle = xlContinuous
         .ColorIndex = 0
        .TintAndShade = 0
       .Weight = xlThin
    End With
  End Sub

to replace

Code:
 Range("AC3:AC9").Select     Selection.Borders(xlDiagonalDown).LineStyle = xlNone     Selection.Borders(xlDiagonalUp).LineStyle = xlNone     With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeLeft)         .LineStyle = xlContinuous         .ColorIndex = 0         .TintAndShade = 0         .Weight = xlThin     End With     With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeTop)         .LineStyle = xlContinuous         .ColorIndex = 0         .TintAndShade = 0         .Weight = xlThin     End With     With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeBottom)         .LineStyle = xlContinuous         .ColorIndex = 0         .TintAndShade = 0         .Weight = xlThin     End With     With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeRight)         .LineStyle = xlContinuous         .ColorIndex = 0         .TintAndShade = 0         .Weight = xlThin     End With     With Selection.Borders(xlInsideVertical)         .LineStyle = xlContinuous         .ColorIndex = 0         .TintAndShade = 0         .Weight = xlThin     End With     With Selection.Borders(xlInsideHorizontal)         .LineStyle = xlContinuous         .ColorIndex = 0         .TintAndShade = 0         .Weight = xlThin     End With
