OR and wildcards

=IF(OR(B4={"1A","1B","2A","2B","18A","18B"})...

Is it possible to change this so that all it does it look for A or B in cell B4?

I resolved it. I'd inadvertently included your x & y in addition to my own and it didn't like it.
