Hi,

I have the below table. However, when I create a bar chart, the values are displayed in descending order. In other words, Value 10 is on top, followed by value 9, all the way down to 1. Can I get the graph to put Value 1 at the top?

Thanks.

Code:
Value 1	-1.40%
Value 2	0.10%
Value 3	-5.00%
Value 4	-2.70%
Value 5	0.70%
Value 6	1.10%
Value 7	-3.80%
Value 8	0
Value 9	6.10%
Value 10	-1.10%

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Right click the axis in question. There is a checkbox for "plot in reverse order". Sorry not more specific as to the exact location of the checkbox but I'm working from memory at the moment, my Excel is running a lengthy macro.

Greg,

Thanks, this is exactly what I wanted to do. However, it now moved the hoirzontal axis labels to the top of the chart. Is there a way to put those back down at the bottom?

Thanks.

Try this:
Right click on the X axis (horiz) and select "Format Axis".
Select the "Patterns" tab at the top.
Under "Tick Mark Labels", select "Next to Axis"

Hope that works for you.

Underneath the Values in reverse order checkbox, there is a Category (X) axis crosses at maximum value checkbox. Try checking that -- does that flip it back south for you?

I actually clicked on the y axis, selected Category (Y) axis crosses at maximum value, and it moved the horizontal labels back down to the bottom.

Freg and SId, thanks for your help.
