I'm thinking, that like me, a great many proficient Excel users get their source data from other applications / databases.
Which are you using ?
Which do you find user friendly ?
Are you using Excel to further cut / analyse data and/or provide the spit & polish for presentation ?
Me: Using Business Objects Desktop Intelligence XI r2 (going to r3 next month), it's generally frustrating with many glitches, especially running over a corporate net.
The graph tools are virtually non-existant and, due to it running over an Oracle relational warehouse, the data attributes and metrics have forced joins that you can only work around in Excel..
