Hi,

Using EXCEL 2007, when I try to export a file as a formatted text file (space delimited), it always wants to wrap the resulting file (i.e., it will write out about half the length of each record, and then continue with the remaining half of the record at the end of the file). In other words, each record becomes two records.

Each record can be a couple thousand alpha/numeric characters long.

Here is a visual of what happens.

Record (imagine it is much longer than this example)

00001 George Whateverever 224929949 Other_entries_here

becomes:

00001 George Whateverever
224929449 Other_entries_here

Is there some option to set so that outputted file from EXCEL 2007 does not wrap like this ???

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I think there's a width restriction in exporting text files.
Count the number of characters, it may be 255 per line.
