overnight bookings

Hi,

I have created form that can take bookings in any 1 day/24hr period. I now need to increase this to overnight bookings aswell.

Say a client comes in at 15:00 and leaves at 09:00 the following day, I would presume that I would have to enter two dates to make this work. However entering two dates (the same date twice) for a booking that isn't overnight seems a pointless exercise to me.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

Many thanks
Colin

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
depending on the layout of your tables, this could be done in a variety of ways..
-have two text boxes, one for same day time, one for next day time.. fill in one of them
-have a checkbox for check if it's overnight
-little more complicated: have the second date default to the first date, unless a different date is entered

Thanks for the reply,
I think your third option sounds best, I will give it a go.

Cheers
