I have a calculation (vba) to make using the data from cell A1 and to overwrite this source data by the outcome of the calculation. I did record a macro to achieve this:

Sub Macro1()
Range("A1").Select
ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = range."=25.59/24"
Range("A1").Select
Selection.NumberFormat = "[h]:mm"
End Sub

The point is that I need to replace 25.59 with code, refering to the actual value of A1. Who can help me here?

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Try this

Code:
Sub Macro1()
With Range("A1")
    .Value = .Value / 24
    .NumberFormat = "[h]:mm"
End With
End Sub
